NASCAR Cup Series® superstar William Byron got his 2023 season kick-started with a big Super Late Model win during February racing action in New Smyrna
Beach, Florida.
Byron won the prestigious 100-lap Super Late Model feature as part of the early-season short track racing kickoff on Florida’s Atlantic coast. Driving the No. 24
William Byron Store Super Late Model for powerhouse team Wilson Motorsports, Byron started 10th and was in the top five within the first 10 laps of the event.
After climbing to the top three, Byron took the lead on Lap 53 and never looked back. It was his second Super Late Model win in as many nights in New Smyrna
