Amazing service and fast delivery by Circle B. Lionel did a great job on this diecast. I'm normally not a fan of color chrome on white as it looks too "mirrory" but this just looks like a great metallic look.
This is on the Color Chrome Ally 48. While the car is very nice looking, there are a couple of things that are a little disappointing about it. First - Most Color Chrome cars (all the others I own and have seen) the Color Chrome is just that - Chrome that is a color. On this car: The White is simply replaced with Chrome. Plain Chrome. Looks much closer to the “Ally Final Ride” from the Phoenix finale than anything else. This is slightly disappointing. Especially when you preorder something with no details of what color the Color Chrome will be. It would look much better if they had chosen to use the purple design on the car as the Color Chrome. Then it would actually be a actual Color Chrome model, instead of just a chrome with painted on color scheme. Second - The infamous QC on these models has struck again - There is a decent sized paint chip on the right side door panel, and a second smaller one on the drivers door number. Once displayed in my case, the right side will be hidden, but drivers side will be fully seen. It is small enough that most people will not find it, but if anyone looks closer, it will be seen. Please note: I have given this item 3 stars, but took both out from 5 due to the choice of the Color Chrome being simply plain Chrome. The QC, while disappointing, is not as big of an issue, simply due to the way it will be displayed. If the display would not hide the biggest chip, it would have lost yet another star.
