Reigning NASCAR Cup Series® champion Ryan Blaney utilized a late two-tire pit stop to find his way to the front of the field and cruised on to his first win of
2024 at Iowa Speedway.
In the first NASCAR Cup Series® race at the Newton, Iowa short track, Blaney grabbed the lead with 88 laps remaining and never looked back. With dozens of family and friends cheering on the Team Penske driver and the No. 12 Advance Auto Parts Ford Mustang, Blaney took the checkered flag and completed a sweep of the NASCAR® national series wins at Iowa Speedway, having already won in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series® in 2012 and the NASCAR Xfinity Series® in 2015.
