Rev Racing driver Nick Sanchez masterfully outlasted the competition
in a wild season-opening NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series® race at DAYTONA®
to score his first career series victory.
From behind the wheel of the No. 2 Gainbridge Chevrolet Silverado,
Sanchez led a race-high 26 laps, including the final 10 – but it was
anything but an easy run to the checkered flag for the native Floridian.
Sanchez took the lead for the final time on lap 92, but had to
withstand two Overtime finishes and a chaotic melee on the final lap in
order to capture his first win and qualify for a second-straight berth
in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series® Playoffs.
