California native Kyle Larson earned a home track win on the Sonoma Raceway road course with a masterful performance in the Toyota / Save Mart 350.
The Hendrick Motorsports driver and the crew of his No. 5 Valvoline Chevrolet elected to pit for fuel later than most of the rest of the competition for the run to the checkered flag. Once the final pit stop was made, Larson carved his way from eighth to the lead with just eight laps remaining. Larson cruised beneath the checkered flag for his third NASCAR Cup Series® victory of the 2024 season and his second all-time at the Northern California road course
