Kyle Larson will live out his childhood dream – and a dream of most racers who have ever strapped on a helmet – on the 2024 Memorial Day weekend.
The 2021 NASCAR Cup Series® champion will compete in two of the most prestigious motor races in the world on the same day. He will make his debut in the Indianapolis 500 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Sunday, May 26, 2024. Once he sees the checkered flag in Indy, he will make the trip to Charlotte, North Carolina to battle in the NASCAR Cup Series’® crown jewel 600-mile race at Charlotte Motor Speedway later that day.
Larson, the 2021 winner of the 600-mile race at Charlotte, will battle with a special, new-look HendrickCars.com No. 5 Chevrolet Camaro in the 2024 edition of the race. The traditional blue and white of Larson’s rides will be accented in a vibrant papaya to reflect the driver’s partnership with the NTT INDYCAR SERIES powerhouse Arrow McLaren for the Indianapolis 500 portion of the Hendrick 1100.
At Indy, Larson will wheel a blue, white, and papaya No. 17 Chevrolet.
