The moment that launched Kevin Harvick into NASCAR® superstardom took place on March 11, 2001. Just weeks after taking over the NASCAR Cup Series® ride at Richard Childress Racing under tragic circumstances, Harvick wheeled his No. 29 car to Victory Lane at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
That day did more than just etch Harvick’s name into the NASCAR Cup Series® record books and begin his path towards being considered a legend of the sport. It helped a reeling NASCAR® community and provided one of the most emotion-filled scenes that the industry had ever seen.
For his final NASCAR® All-Star Race in 2023, Harvick will turn back the clock to that historic day in 2001 with a special No. 29 race car. This time, his Stewart-Haas Racing Ford Mustang will forego its usual No. 4 and be taken back in time, with full support of Richard Childress Racing and SHR team partner Busch® Light beer, for the No. 29 and the white-and-red livery that Harvick wheeled to victory in Atlanta.
