During the May NASCAR Cup Series® races at North Wilkesboro and
Charlotte, John Hunter Nemechek celebrated heroes and legends with the
support of LEGACY Motor Club team partner Dollar Tree.
In the NASCAR® All-Star Race open event at North Wilkesboro, Nemechek
debuted a green-and-white paint scheme that paid tribute to legendary
NASCAR® driver Harry Gant and the car he drove to numerous victories in
the 1980s. That same look was enhanced the week following, as the Gant
tribute car also sported markings to honor America’s military heroes
with special NASCAR® Salutes markings in the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte
on Memorial Day weekend.
