Joey Logano scored a monumental victory in the Food City Dirt Race at Bristol Motor Speedway, the first NASCAR Cup SeriesTM race on dirt since 1970.
Logano, wheeling the No. 22 Shell-Pennzoil Ford Mustang for Team Penske, led 61 of the race’s 253 laps and withstood challenges on an Overtime restart to earn the checkered flag.
It was Logano’s first win of the season and the 27th of his career.
