Now Lionel Racing celebrates the 40th anniversary of Hendrick Motorsports with a set of 1:64-scale cars that revives nine of the most iconic paint schemes from the team’s past with a modern twist, along with one added special edition. Each of these collectible Hendrick Motorsports cars is produced on the Next Gen Chevrolet body. Beginning with the car that started it all – Geoff Bodine’s No. 5 Chevy from 1984 –Lionel has captured the liveries of Tim Richmond’s No. 25, Darrell Waltrip’s No. 17,Ken Schrader’s No. 25, Jeff Gordon’s No. 24, Terry Labonte’s No. 5, Jimmie Johnson’s No. 48, Mark Martin’s No. 5, and Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s No. 88. The 10th car in the set features a specially designed 40th anniversary paint scheme.
