Trackhouse Racing driver Daniel Suárez celebrated another racing legend from his home country of Mexico during the Official Throwback Weekend of
NASCAR® at Darlington Raceway.
Back in 2004, Mexico City native Adrian Fernández brought a Quaker
State-sponsored car to Victory Lane on three occasions in the IndyCar
series. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of that banner year for
Fernández, Suárez and Quaker State brought a paint scheme inspired by
Fernández’s winning open-wheeled car to the No. 99 Chevrolet Camaro to
Darlington.
