Elliott and his Hendrick Motorsports crew expertly saved a set of tires for a final sprint to the finish of the 300-mile Memorial Day NASCAR® Salutes weekend race. Elliott used the fresh tires to take the lead with 18 laps remaining and he never looked back. The Charlotte triumph was the 2020 NASCAR Cup Series® champion’s sixth NASCAR Xfinity Series® win and his first since 2016.
